Materials
GRANITE - Granite is the rock most often quarried as 'natural rock material' that has been cut into blocks or slabs of specific length, width, and thickness. Granite is hard enough to resist most abrasion, has a significant weight, is inert, resists weathering, and can accept a brilliant polish. Granite has been used for thousands of years in interior and exterior applications.
MARBLE - Marble is another rock that forms from limestone, and being subjected to heat and pressure. Marble occurs in large deposits, allowing it the be economically mined on large scale. It has the same uses as granite but is generally known for not being as dense.
ENGINEERED - Engineered stone is a modern stone created with a mixture of stone aggregates hold by a resin and pressed into slabs. The abundant material used to create the engineered stone is present everywhere in nature due to forming in all temperature climates. Highly resistant to both chemicals and heat making it one of the most chip resistant in the surfaces industry.
TRAVERTINE - Travertine is a form of terrestrial limestone deposited around mineral springs, especially hot springs. It often has a fibrous or concentric appearance and exists in white, tan, cream-colored, and even rusty varieties. It is easy to work with. The surface is suitable
ONYX - Onyx is a calcareous material with a very fine, tight grain, and many veins running concentrically from one another. This translucent stone is synonymous with luxury living.
LIMESTONE - When the word “stone” is used in the concept of slab conventional stone. It usually refers to limestone, slate, and other sedimentary rock. They are rarely polished. They are suitable for internal and external use.
QUARTZITE - Quartzite has the same physical and mechanical as granite. It has a high-range hardness and is often used in similar external applications as granite. Granite and Quartzite have become the most preferred stone for kitchens and hallway decor this past decade. They are also becoming a popular choice for flooring tiles. It is suitable for external applications as well.
